Walking around Norwich in the sunshine, handing out postcards to happy fans, gathered, reflecting on the end of a fantastic season, sharing beers and memories, it became clear that the timing of my new book, Fantasy Football, is  perfect.

The similarities between season 2011/12, and the Canaries’ monumental achievements two decades ago is uncanny – a Norwich City side, bristling with understated star talent, taking on, and more than holding their own, against whatever the bigger clubs can throw at us.

Norwich City were expected, at best, to just ‘make up the numbers’ during the first season of Premier League football in 1992/93. The team had barely escaped with their top flight lives the previous campaign and, in a pre-season that saw a new manager appointed, as well as their top player and talisman leave the club, few predicted anything other than a harsh struggle and inevitable relegation.

Twenty years on, this brand new book looks back in detail at that time, the setting up of the Premier League and the season that followed at Carrow Road, including photos and new and exclusive interviews from the players and officials involved with the club then, as well as the supporters. Personal retrospectives of a very special football club – memories that provide a fascinating insight for all Norwich fans to enjoy. Real stories from the mouths of real Canary heroes

Every supporter who purchases the book before 10th June 2012 will SAVE £5 and get their name (or that of a friend/family member) printed in the book totally free of charge. RRP£19.99 and postage & packing charges apply.

New Everton Book – Making The Grade

Stan Osbourne's beautifully written new Everton book, Making the Grade, is in the early stages of production, with a view to publish in October 2012. Stan, a life-long Everton supporter, was also an apprentice footballer at Goodison Park during the late 60s and early 70s and his amazingly detailed memories give us a fly-on-the-wall look back at the club during a very special time for Everton.

As well as his relationships with the senior pros, fellow budding footballers and the management, Making The Grade offers a brilliantly well-observed, and extremely funny, view of the club, and the city of Liverpool and Kirby, as they once were.

This book has a real heart and soul and the reviews from those lucky enough to have had a sneak preview demonstrates what a gem it will be.

Fantasy Football

Our new Norwich City title, Fantasy Football, will now be launched in July, ahead of the 2012/12 football season. The 220-page hard-back, which looks back at City's magnificent first Premiership campaign twenty years ago, features new and exclusive interviews with some of the pivotal and legendary Canaries who guided the club to a third-placed finish – one that would have clinched Champions League football today.

There will be high profile launch and signing events at both Carrow Road and in Jarrolds in July and August, which will be attended by many ex-Norwich players – full details will be made available when they are known.

In the meantime, anyone who purchases the book in advance from www.legendspublishing.net/ncfc will get a £5 discount, plus get a free name dedication that will be printed in the book.

The Big Brentford Books of the 70s and 80s

Quality, Quantity and some Quite Stunning reviews....

Following on from the success of The Big Brentford Book of the Seventies, The Big Brentford Book of the Eighties will be the next in the series of large-format, hi-spec books, designed to offer Brentford supporters and football fans in general the most comprehensive and thorough retrospective look at each decade imaginable. Not only will the book contain match reports, player profiles, in-depth statistical information and a month by month diary (detailing all the comings and goings at Griffin Park), we have unearthed hundreds of rarely seen or long-forgotten photos and press cuttings to add a whole new dimension to the book. We have also spoken to many of the iconic players, managers and club officials from the eighties so that the reports and stats are 'brought to life'. When combined, we feel the books encapsulate each era like never before. Quality and quantity!

The 80s book can be ordered at www.legendspublishing.net/80
